This process is to avoid goods being sent in LCL to minimize the risk and damaging and complications, also to economize the freight cost. Sending goods in LCL general has a higher risk of damaging, as goods need to be handled multiple times before loaded on container, also a container is shared with goods from others, which could be potentially harmful to your goods.
