- In detail
This vibrating mill accepts a variety of feeding material such as lignite, hard coal, ash, coke, charcoal, dolomite, marble, silica sand, limestone, bentonite, lime, gypsum, puzzolan, bauxite, copper granules, iron oxide, ferrosilicon, magnesium oxide, arsenide, aluminium oxide, silicon carbonate, zirconium, fireclay and corundum. The machine is suitable for grinding of these material in the processing industry, ranging from medium-sized lumps to finest grains. Industries that use this machine include coal, ceramics, chemical, pit & quarry and related domains.
mode of operation:
twin- and three-tube vibrating mills are driven with the help of an unbalanced drive. The filling of the grinding cylinders comprises the grinding media and the feed material. This filling continuously receives impulses from the circular vibrations that are present in the body of the mill. The grinding action itself is generated due to the rotation of the grinding media in opposite direction towards the driving rotation and also because of continuous head-on collisions of the grinding media. Quantity of the flowing feed material determines the residence time of the material inside the grinding cylinders. The residence time can also be affected by the use of damming devices. Feed material passes through the grinding cylinders in a helical curve and slides down from the inflow to the outflow. This long grinding procedure ensures that a high degree of fineness is achieved. Continuous feeding is ensured by the vibrating feeders, rotary valves or conveyor screws and the product is finally conveyed either pneumatically or mechanically.
