Talc Mineral

Talc Mineral is the Softest mineral of the earth. In its structural form Talc stone consists of various flakes, layers (lamellar). It is a translucent mineral but masses of it are opaque. Technically Talc is a three layered, hydrated magnesium silicate. Every crystal of Talc is also associated with other minerals such as dolomite or chloride. The mid layer magnesium hydroxide is sandwiched between top and bottom layer of silicate. Talc being inner in nature; possess excellent thermal, electrical and chemical properties.
