The precipitation hardening is achieved by a relatively simple aging treatment of the fabricated part. The two main characteristics of all precipitation-hardening stainless steels are high strength and high corrosion resistance. 17-4ph Stainless Steel is Martensitic precipitation-hardening stainless steels. This range is manufactured in compliance with international standards that contain ASTM A693 grade 630 (AMS 5604B) UNS S17400. This type of steel is used for applications requiring high strength and a moderate level of corrosion resistance. Moreover, this range is acknowledged for its salient features that include high strength, ductility, corrosion resistance, durability, high efficiency, longer service life, etc.
