Spun Cast Special Carbide Enhanced Indefinite Chill Rolls

These rolls have been developed to cater to the most demanding strip mills / steckel mills by providing extra special carbides through alloying, heat treatment and inoculation. The shell microstructure consists of martensite, bainite with finely dispersed carbides and fine well distributed graphite which imparts higher resistance to wear and abrasion with better mechanical properties.

Application : These rolls are used as work rolls in the final finishing stands of C.S.P., Hot Strip Mills and Steckel mills.
