Sluice Liner

This concept of sluice liners was the first of it's kind designed by Etectrowatt, consultants to NJPC, for the rough application in Sutlej river, subjected to high pressures, high abrasion ndimpact. These box liners, measuring 8.5m x 14m x 18m, were designed using ASTM 517 gr F steelHARDOX 400 (from Sweden) / DILLIDUR 400V (from Germany). The construction of these boxstructures was with parabolic walls and top slab on upstream side, 700deep "T" shaped transversestiffeners all around @ 700 c/c and 250mm deep longitudinal stiffeners @ 800 c/c to be fabricated and installed in the Dam Blocks using temporary support structures and then encased in concrete.
