Silicone Defoamer Production Information: MRSI-SD is silicone base proprietary product used extensively in a wide variety of industrial batch processing applications. These include petroleum refining, textile processing leather finishing, fermentation processes, oil and antifreeze operation, etc. MRSI-SD is used where foaming creates intense problem especially where aqueous systems are followed. Addition of MRSI-SD prevents formation of foam and if foam formed then it eliminates within seconds. Technical test report: 1. Appearance: Milky emulsions 2. Chemical composition: Dimethyl Poly siloxane 3. Solid: 20% to 70% 4. pH.: 7 5. Specific Gravity: 1.0 6. Suitable diluent: Soft water 7. Defoaming time: 5 second 8. Diclofumation: Non-Ionic Application: In jet dyeing machine or similar processes MRSI-SD is recommended in the concentration range of 2 to 50 gms/M.T.
