Description
Computers, Photocopier machines Fax, EPABX Sophisticated instruments requires highly stabilized supply. Servo stabilizers are simple high speed electro mechanical device that provides highly accurate constant A.C.Supply. They are continuous operation and independent of load condition.
Principle:
Basic electrical diagram of servo stabilizer is shown in fig.1 It consists variable Auto transformer, buck-boost transformer and servomotor with electronics circuit. A difference of set voltage and output voltage is sensed by electronic circuit. Depending on polarity of difference it operates a servomotor either in forward or reverse direction. Servomotors moves wiper of auto transformer to change primary voltage of buck-boost transformer.Secondary of buck-boost transformers in series with mains suppyl hence it will either increase or decrease voltage in output depending on primary voltage of transformer.
