Pressure Leaf Filters

Pressure Leaf Filters are pressure vessel with vertical mounted leafs accumulated on central outlet filter manifold. These filters are equipped with pneumatic vibrator and pneumatic controlled valve at bottom for quick release of cake - dry or wet. There are two types of filters classified according to shell design.

1. Vertical Pressure Leaf Filters.

2. Horizontal Pressure Leaf filters.

Filtered cake can be discharged as dry or wet cake: For cake drying dry steam or hot air is used. For wet cake discharge additional spray nozzles are provided.

Pressure leaf filters finds wide applications in different industries such as edible oil, food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals & fine chemicals.

Advanced Design of Pressure Leaf filters have Advantages over traditional Plate & Frame filters are as follows -

1. Stainless steel Filter Elements have more life then filter cloth, so cost effective.
