Description
The top tank is associated with the fill and overflow mechanisms of the cooling system. In top to bottom flow systems, the Plastic Tank will be located on the top of the radiator. In cross flow systems, the top tank is designated on which the fill cap is attached, or which accommodates an alternate fill mechanism. In contrast to the top tank, the bottom tank is attached to the opposite end of the radiator core, and is associated with the capabilities of draining the cooling system.
