Growth promotion activity

Bacillus spp. produces growth promoting substance, thereby increasing sprouting rate ofseed and growth of seedling and plants

Mode of action

The Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) colonizing the root surface and closely adhering soil interface, the Rhizospheree. Some of the PGPR can also enter root interior and establish endophytic population. Many of them are able to transfer the endodermis barrier, crossing from the root cortex to vascular system, and subsequently thrive in stem, leaves and tuber and other parts. Consequently intimate association between bacteria and host plant can be formed. Offensive PGPR colonization and defensive retensionrhizospheree niche are enabled by production of bacterial allelochemicals, including iron - chelating siderophores, antibiotics, biosidal volatize, lytic enzymes, detoxification enzymes (Sturz, A.B. and B.R Chirsty, 2003).

The PGPR have provided a greater understanding of multiple facets of disease suppression, unique association of non symbioticendophytic bacteria and apparently a more pronounced growth enhancing effect on host plant.

Target Crops - Grapes, Banana, Pomegranate, Guava, Mango, Citrus, Chilly, Tomato, Brinjal, Okra, Tea, Coffee, Plantation crop, Medicinal and Aromatic crops, Cotton, Maize, Paddy, Wheat.

Advantages of PGPR

·PGPR to control wide range of phytopathogenicfungi, bacteria, viruses, nematodes etc... Bio control mechanism which may be due to antibiotics, siderophores, enzymes or by systematic resistance against phytopathogen throughout the entire plant system.

·Effective against root rot and stem rot caused by Scelerotiana, Rhizoctonia, Damping off, Cercospora, Macrophomine, Downy mildew and W.P.y mildew

·Improving plant stress tolerance to drought, salinity

·Increasing the uptake of micronutrients Zinc and Fe through more root surface area

·Production of phytohormones like IAA and GA

·More yield

·Good Crop Stand

Method of application and dosage

·Seed treatment - Mix 10 ml PREMIUM SURAKSHA in 50 ml of water and treat the seed. Dry the seed in shade before sowing in the field.

·Seedlings root dipping - Mix 80 - 100 ml PREMIUM SURAKSHA in 10 litr of water. Submerged the seedlings roots for 20 - 30 minutes and then transplant the seedlings in the field.

·Soil application - Mix 500 - 1000 ml of PREMIUM SURAKSHA for one acre in 50 kg of well decomposed FYM/compost/Vermi compost/field soil at the time of final field preparation and also broadcast in the standing crop after sowing or transplanting.

·Drip irrigation - Dilute 1 lit. of PREMIUM SURAKSHA in 100 litr of good quality of water and use this Solution for drip irrigation in one acre.

Compatibility

·Compatible with well rotten FYM/compost/vermi compost. Don't mix with chemical fertilizers, pesticides, insecticides during foliar spray. Can be used alternate with chemicals.

·Avoid using with Antibiotic & Copper Compounds

·In soil application can be used along with chemical fertilizers.
