Description
Pivaloyl Chloride is a very important acylating agent, mainly used as pharmaceutical intermediate, and as the main raw material in preparation of many amide and phenol lipid drugs; currently used in the production of amoxicillin and cephalosporin, cefazolin, adrenaline. It is also used in the production of pesticide intermediates, such as chlorinated Pivaloylchloride, oxadiazon, and so on.
