Description
- Each film coated tablet contains:
- Perindopril erbumine 2 mg + Indapamide 0.625 mg
- Perindopril erbumine 4 mg + Indapamide 1.25 mg
- Perindid is indicated in the treatment of essential hypertension in subjects whose hypertension is not controlled by Perindopril alone.
- Perindid is a fixed dose combination of an ACE inhibitor (Perindopril) and a diuretic (Indapamide).
- ACE inhibitors work by blocking the action of Angiotensin Converting Enzyme (ACE). Diuretics cause the kidneys to get rid of unwanted water and salt from the body. This leads to additive synergy of the antihypertensive effects of the two constituents.
