Peecock DK (Double-Knit) yarns are light-weight yarns, made from 100% long staple combed cotton fiber, singed by flame for a smooth, clean yarn, and mercerized to give it a beautiful luster and glossy finish. These are the most hardwearing yarns with the least problem of pilling. They are a favorite with knitters, considering their light weight, versatility, and the ease with which they can be worked. These are ideally suited for a wide range of items including toys, dolls' clothes, accessories like light-weight sweaters and Afghans, winter garments like socks, blankets and home furnishings.
