Purple varities are more productive, fruits are larger but poor in juice content and flavour, higher in TSS, acids and carotenoid pigments. Yellow varities are more in juice content and flavour, with less TSS and acids.
Passion fruits are propagated by seeds, cuttings and grafting on resistant rootstocks.
