Description
Formed by polymerization of formaldehyde, Paraformaldehyde is a white crystalline solid. Largely used with phenol, it also reacts with urea, melamine or resorcinol for formulating various resinsthat are used as binders in plywood and particleboard. It is widely used for decontamination, production of more resin from existing equipment and it needs less water to be removed from the reactor products.
