Sitar is probably the most well known instrument in the arena of classical music. We offer a wide range of Ordinary Sitars which provides melodious sounds. The instrument that we offer is precisely designed keeping in mind the artists comfort to play the instrument as well as the portability of the for carrying it. Our offered sitar is light weight and is balanced perfectly between the player's right knee and left foot. The player can easily move his/her hands and pluck the string with the help of a metallic plectrum or pitch which is known as mizraab. Commonly, the index finger is used for playing the sitar, but some players prefer to use the middle finger. The player puts his\her thumb fixed on the top of the fretboard which is designed just above the main gourd. "Meand" which is a specialized technique is done by the sitarist by pulling the main melody string to the bottom part of the curved frets. Through this, the artist achieves the seven semitone range semitonal notes.
