USES OF ORDENT TABLET
Ordent Tablet is used in the treatment of bacterial & parasitic infections. It is used to treat gastrointestinal infections such as acute diarrhea or dysentery, gynecological infections, lung infections, and urinary infections.

HOW TO USE ORDENT TABLET
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ordent Tablet is to be taken with food.
Taking it empty stomach can cause stomach upset.
HOW ORDENT TABLET WORKS
Ordent Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Ofloxacin and Ornidazole. Ofloxacin works by preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing the bacteria. Ornidazole kills parasites and anaerobic bacteria that cause infections by damaging their DNA. Together, they treat your infection effectively.
ORDENT TABLET RELATED WARNINGS
Alcohol CAUTION Ordent Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heartbeat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure with alcohol (Disulfiram reactions).
Pregnancy WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS Ordent Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation No information is available on the use of Ordent Tablet during lactation. Please consult your doctor.
Driving Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Kidney Ordent Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Ordent Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Liver CAUTION Ordent Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Ordent Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
