HOW TO USE NICOGLOW TABLET
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nicoglow 250 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
HOW NICOGLOW TABLET WORKS
Nicoglow 250 mg Tablet stimulates the formation of enzymes for triglyceride metabolism thereby reducing the levels of triglyceride and cholesterol in the body.
NICOGLOW TABLET RELATED WARNINGS
CAUTION Taking Niacin with alcohol can cause nausea, dizziness, itching, vomiting, upset stomach, and flushing (warmth, redness, or tingly feeling under your skin). WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS Nicoglow 250 mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
SAFE Nicoglow 250 mg Tablet is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
SAFE Nicoglow 250 mg Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
There is limited information available on the use of Nicoglow 250 mg Tablet in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.
However, a cautious use of Nicoglow 250 mg Tablet is advised in patients with kidney disease as the information available is very limited.
CAUTION Nicoglow 250 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Nicoglow 250 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Nicoglow 250 mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with active liver disease.
