USES OF MESNA INJECTION
Mesna 200 mg Injection is used to prevent ifosfamide-induced hemorrhagic cystitis. It is not for use to reduce the risk of blood in the urine due to other medical conditions.

HOW MESNA INJECTION WORKS
Mesna 200 mg Injection helps to reduce the risk of inflammation and bleeding in the bladder, who receive ifosfamide (a medicine used to treat cancer).

PROBABLY SAFE Mesna 200 mg Injection is probably safe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
UNSAFE Mesna 200 mg Injection is unsafe to use during lactation. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby, or the mother is suffering from a condition in which breastfeeding is not advisable.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
As patients undergoing treatment with Mesna 200 mg Injection may experience undesirable effects such as lightheadedness, lethargy, dizziness, and blurred vision which could affect the ability to drive.
There is limited information available on the use of Mesna 200 mg Injection in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.
