Jomney End Quench Hardenability Apparatus

Jomney End Quench Hardenability Apparatus offered by us comes with special furnace with DTC, Thyristor controlled panel so as to avoid shooting up of temperatures. It can carry out 3 tests at a time with quenching fixture designed strictly as per BS/SAE with specifications like 45° angle of top plate, jet stopper release just before quenching, quenching distance and others.

This consists of three parts: -

• Quenching Fixture
• Special Vertical Furnace
• Standard Accessories

Quenching Fixture -

• It is motorised one for constant delivery/circulation of water & does not require any tap connection
• There are many critical specifications through apparently sitting simple, demanded by Jominy standard that are met perfectly in the offered model (please refer our Catalogue)

Specially designed Vertical Furnace -

• It helps quick transfer of specimen to quench fixture
• One can test three specimens at time those are placed vertically in a Jominy moulds
• ( S S.) intern are housed in S S. Fixture that helps in avoiding decarb of specimen near to its quenched end thus avoiding deepening of initial portion of graph / Jominy Curve
• Furnace is supplied with advance digital controller for maintaining required temperatures for jominey application in its control panel, limiting over shoot of set Jominy temp
• That normally occurs in conventional laboratory furnaces for maintaining accuracy of temperature control as per the standard
