The most distinct and desirable being the assured quality of output, a fact that has prompted even existing mills to change their inputs mix. The other factor, which favoured so far towards increased DRI usage, is the market prices, which is prevailing. DRI plants have also the capability to co-generate power through waste kiln gases only at a comparatively cheaper cost.
