Turmeric is so common in Indian kitchens but we still don't know the benefits it has. It is an antiseptic and anti oxidant. It has uses in beauty treatments. It also strengthens the bones. While many of us are aware of the numerous benefits of this deep, exotic yellow spice, few incorporate turmeric in our daily use, other than sprinkling a little of it in our daal and subzi.
