Fresh Guava

It is a round or pear-shaped fruit. The colour of its skin is primrose, yellow. Most of the Guavas have a white pulp. The fruits are fleshy, sweet and emanate a slight and pleasant odour. Some of the varieties have red-flesh with a good taste.The fruit is a good source of Vitamin C, Pectin, Calcium & Phosphorus. The fruit is used in the preparation of processed products like Jams, Jellies etc.
