HOUSE FLY
Flies feed on various organic substance including excrement, and sweet and other foods. As a result they can transfer pathogens for infection diseases such as cholera, dysentery, typhoid fever, salmonellas, hepatitis poliomyelitis.
Flies lay up to 2,000 eggs, mostly in manure, faeces, compost heaps and rubbish tips ( the musca domestic species), but also on protein-rich substances such as meat (the calliphora vicina species).The eggs develop into white maggots, which can grow up to 12mm long.Their movement between bad meat, excrement and foods is not only unappetizing, it also makes flies the transmitters of germs and a source of good contamination.
MODE OF TREATMENT
A through insecticide spray residual chemical will be done at strategic point of pest habitat (i.e., manure, faeces, compost heaps and rubbish tips ) and resting places like food habitats areas, waste drains etc.
