Flue Gas Absorption / De-sulphurization

The growth of the incinerator industry and the emission regulations imposed have resulted in the development of flue gas cleaning processes for the solid waste and hazardous waste incinerators.

Efficient acid gas removal under wet conditions at low temperature and the collection of a dry end product are obtained in the spray dryer absorption (sda) process, hereby combining the best of the wet and dry processes in a simple concept, which, also has shown high removal of trace elements in vapour phase.

Advantages of sda process have resulted in this process being specified for a majority of new incinerator applications and in many retrofit situations.
