Description
Pure copper is a better electrical and thermal conductor than 85/15 CuZn. We produce pure cast Contact Clamps in order to reduce power drops from ohmic resistance of the clamp and improve the performance of furnaces under demanding operating conditions. Pure copper is very difficult to cast, however, alternative ways of cooling the units have been developed. Copper pipe bent in form loops are cast inside the contact clamp. This prevents leaks caused by imperfections in the cast copper and extends the lifetime of the clamps. In addition, this model is easier to repair.
