The Cold Rolled Steel Strips Division, with facilities at Patancheru & Isnapur, has a combined annual capacity of 120,000 Metric Tons. Facilities:

The CR Steel Division is equipped with state-of-art facilities ensuring the quality of finished products:

• Semi-continuous push-pull type pickling lines feed the rolling mill with scale-free, oiled and bright HR coils.
• PLC-controlled MECON WEAN-UNITED 4 Hi-cold rolling mills equipped with non-contact automatic guages ensure rolling of strips of uniform guage with thickness tolerance upto +/- 0.020 mm
• Bell-type annealing furnaces enable heat treatment of the cold rolled strips, to achieve the desired mechanical properties.
• Modern 'Skin Pass' mills controlled by PLCs, Digital Drives, Bridle rolls and Stretch-levelling facilities that ensure desired surface finish (bright/ matte) to the annealed coils
• CR slitting lines help to meet the width requirements to a tolerance of +/- 0.15 mm.
• State-of-art cut-to-length lines, provided with precision levelers help supply sheets in the range of 500 - 4000 mm, with in a tolerance of +/- 0.5 mm.
• Tested products are carefully packed, using polythene and gunny for coils and Poly Craft and wooden / steel pallets for sheets, to provide total protection to the products during transit and handling

Customised Blanks:

As a part of value addition, Pennar supplies customers with blanks in various sizes and shapes. Pennar offers blanks upto 300 mm dia. and has plans to go upto 500 mm dia with thickness range of 0.50 mm to 6 mm. Pennar has state-of-art tool room facilities and has the ability to make the desired blanking tools economically and with minimum lead time.
