Co-generation Units

Co-generation units are designed for the combined production of electricity and heat. The electricity produced by a CGU is most often used for the owner's consumption in the building where the unit is installed, while the remainder can be sold to the network. The heat is used to heat the building, to prepare hot water and for technological heating. Co-generation units are composed of engines, generators, heat exchanger sets and control systems. Most are delivered in a compact version with anti-noise hood. The engines are most often designed for natural gas, but they can also use other liquid or gas fuels, including non-traditional ones.
