Graduations are made in white colour which helps the user to take accurate reading as white colour is easily visible on most of the chemicals used in laboratory. Stopcocks in burettes have a choice of Teflon screw thread & glass on/off type. In glass stopcocks high vacuum grease is to applied before use. Teflon stopcocks provide maximum resistance against chemical attack during use. Along with no leakage & excellent flow of chemicals through it with uniformity.
