Brake Drum

We offer our clients high performance Brake Drum at an economical cost. Fabricated from high quality gray cast iron and iron castings as well, these are widely used in some modern cars and smaller (and less-expensive) dirt bikes and ATV's as it allows simple incorporation of a parking brake. In this brake, the friction is caused by a set of shoes that press against a rotating drum shaped surface. These Drum Brakes have a natural 'self applying' characteristic. Drum Brakes are typically designed as either leading or twin leading, out of which the twin leading design is more effect.
