USES OF BIVASTAT INJECTION
Bivastat 250 mg Injection is used to prevent heart attack and unstable angina. It is also used in patients undergoing surgery to treat blockages in their blood vessels (angioplasty).

HOW BIVASTAT INJECTION WORKS
Bivastat 250 mg Injection is an anticoagulant that prevents the formation of harmful blood clots.
BIVASTAT INJECTION RELATED WARNINGS
Alcohol Interaction with alcohol is unknown. Please consult your doctor.
Pregnancy PROBABLY SAFE Bivastat 250 mg Injection is probably safe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation CAUTION Bivastat 250 mg Injection is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Driving Not relevant, as Bivastat 250 mg Injection is intended for use in hospitalised patients.
Kidney CAUTION Bivastat 250 mg Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Bivastat 250 mg Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Bivastat 250 mg Injection is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease and patients undergoing dialysis.
Liver Bivastat 250 mg Injection is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Bivastat 250 mg Injection may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
