The Chemical name of Bentonite is HYDRATED ALUMINUM SILICATE. It finds its greatest application in oil drilling. There are high quantities of Bentonite, which are used in drilling mud. It is used as a thickener in some cheap paints, primers, and water based coatings. It also finds its application in manufacturing greases
Limestone is a common sedimentary rock which constitutes of mainly of calcium carbonate which is chemically written as CaCO3 and finds usage as a building stone and in the manufacture of lime, carbon dioxide, and cement. Basically a Dolomite stone having oil-resistant properties, Limestone exhibits high resistance in freezing and thawing conditions.
It is generally used for producing limestone tiles, slabs in flooring, wall cladding, and vanity tops and to pave the floors of large commercial complexes, hospitals, airports, shopping malls, railway stations, parks etc. The muted tones of limestone are tailor-made and ideally suited for today's more casual and comfortable lifestyles. Usually these soft beiges and tans, either polished or honed, is perfected suited for bathrooms, fireplaces, and counters and less-traveled flooring which require a more informal furnishing.
