Description
Back-pressure steam turbines utilize the pressure difference between the inlet and the outlet steam to efficiently convert a portion of the thermal energy of the steam into mechanical energy for further utilization. The exhaust pressure is designed to be higher than the atmospheric pressure, so that the thermal energy of the exhaust steam can be reutilized in a variety of industrial processes.
Type Back-pressure multistage turbine
output (kW) =400-5000000
Maximum inlet steam temperature (C) acc. to boiler specifications
Maximum exhaust pressure (from vacuum to maximum) (kgf/cm2g) X
Direction of exhaust upward, downward
